MilAccess CAC browser for Android

Your CAC, on your own phone.

Plug a USB smart card reader into an Android phone, tablet or Chromebook you own, and sign in to CAC-protected .mil websites with your Common Access Card. No middleware, no extra apps to install.

Coming soon to Google Play What you need

Independent app. Not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense or any government agency.

What it does

Everything a CAC browser should do, done carefully.

Real CAC sign-in

MilAccess talks to your card through the reader, picks the right certificate, and signs you in the way a desktop CAC-enabled browser does.

Your PIN stays put

The PIN is never stored, logged or sent anywhere, and it's wiped when you remove the card, turn off the screen, go idle for 15 minutes or tap Lock CAC.

A .mil home screen

Common portals like MyPay, milConnect, DTS, IPPS-A, JKO and TRICARE in one place, plus your own bookmarks, recent sites and a quick status check for each.

CAC Inspector

See what's on your card and check that your reader works, free and before you subscribe.

Reminders & quick lock

A heads-up before your CAC expires, session notifications, and a Quick Settings tile to lock your card in one tap.

Big screens, too

Desktop-site mode on tablets, foldables and Chromebooks, plus find in page, zoom, print to PDF and keyboard shortcuts.

Getting started

What you need

  • An Android phone, tablet or Chromebook running Android 10 or later
  • A USB smart card reader (USB-C, or USB-A with an OTG adapter)
  • Your own Common Access Card and PIN

Independent, and private by design

MilAccess is an independent app made by Rodmonster LLC. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense, any military service or any government agency. Use it only with a CAC issued to you, and only as your organization's rules allow.

Your private keys never leave the card, and your browsing, certificates and DoD ID stay on your device. MilAccess has no server of its own.
