Rodmonster LLC Rose Hill, Kansas
We make Android and Wear OS apps that plug into the things you already have: your RSS server, your Audiobookshelf library, your Common Access Card. No ads, and a privacy policy in plain English for every app.
The apps
Each one is in testing now and heading to Google Play under Rodmonster LLC.
RSS reader for phones, tablets and Googlebooks
A calm, beautiful reader for the sites, blogs, YouTube channels and podcasts you follow. No algorithmic feed, no ads, no account required. Bring your FreshRSS, Miniflux or Feedbin, or keep your feeds on the device.
Audiobooks and podcasts from your Audiobookshelf
Listen on your phone, in the car, or on a Wear OS watch with no phone in your pocket. Streams and downloads from your own Audiobookshelf or BookOrbit server and keeps your place in sync.
CAC sign-in on your own Android phone
Plug in a USB smart card reader and sign in to CAC-protected .mil sites from a phone, tablet or Chromebook you own. Your PIN never leaves the device and your keys never leave the card.
A fast, modern Matrix client
Chat on Matrix, including the WhatsApp, Signal and Telegram chats you bridge into it, from your phone and your watch. Quick sign-in with your homeserver or a QR code, and conversations that open instantly.
How we build
Our apps talk to your own server or keep your data on your device. When a feature needs the cloud, its privacy policy says exactly what's sent and why.
None of our apps show ads. Optional extras are plain subscriptions through Google Play, with a free trial and nothing hidden.
Phones, foldables, tablets, Chromebooks, watches and the car, with keyboard and mouse support where it makes sense.
