Angler RSS reader for Android
A calm place to read the web.
Angler gathers the sites, blogs, YouTube channels and podcasts you love into one calm stream. No algorithmic feed, no ads, no account required.
What it does
Everything you follow, nothing you don't.
Your server, or none
FreshRSS, Miniflux, Nextcloud News, Tiny Tiny RSS, Feedbin, Feedly, Inoreader, The Old Reader and other Google Reader API or Fever servers. Or keep feeds right on your device.
A reader that reads well
Full articles with images, code and video, sepia and dark themes, and volume keys that turn the page.
Every screen
One, two or three panes on phones, foldables, tablets and Googlebooks, with full keyboard shortcuts (J/K, Space, Ctrl+K) and mouse support.
Podcasts built in
Listen in the background with playback speeds and skips, right next to your reading.
Organized your way
Unread, starred, search and folders, per-feed notifications, OPML import and starter packs to get going fast.
Widgets
Put your latest stories on the home screen and jump straight into what's new.
Angler AI optional
Help when you want it.
An optional subscription that sorts, summarizes and filters for you. Turn it off for any feed.
For You
A ranked stream of what you'll actually want to read, with clickbait and ads pushed down.
Key points
The gist at the top of long articles, and plain titles for clickbait headlines.
Today's catch
A short morning brief of the stories that matter from everything you follow.
Rules in plain English
"Hide crypto posts." Write what you want and Angler applies it.
Ask your feeds
Ask a question and get an answer drawn from your own subscriptions, with the same story from different feeds grouped together.
Runs on your phone, too
Subscribers get an on-device model for offline summaries, answers and translation. What it reads never leaves your phone.
